If your surf course cannot take place due to the applicable measures within the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic, you can reschedule it for a later date or you will receive a full refund of the course fee from us.
Your wingsurfing course includes a total of 6 course hours, during which we will get you on the board with the wing! You will be taught by an experienced and VDWS-licensed surf instructor who specializes in wingsurfing. You will learn the most important wingsurfing basics (e.g., wind and weather knowledge) and receive a safety briefing. Then it gets practical: We will show you the basic position on the board, starting, steering, and turning (tack and jibe), as well as the courses relative to the wind. In a small student group with a maximum of 4 participants, you can start together on the beautiful flat water lagoon of the Salzhaff.
After your wingsurfing course for beginners, you can handle the wingsurfing equipment yourself and have surfed your first laps across the Salzhaff with the wing.
We will fully equip you with the appropriate surfing equipment (wing, board, wetsuit and boots). You simply pack your bathing suit and a large towel.
The training equipment from our material pool is covered by the kitesurfing school. We accept material damage caused by us during training as a gesture of goodwill. If surfing equipment and equipment is lost, the course participant is liable.
For this, we have our wind guarantee: Unused hours on the water can be made up for in a new appointment or credited towards your next course. This way, we promote fast and safe learning, and you can make the most of your time on the water.
We recommend that you pack a water bottle and a small snack (for example, a bar) for some energy. On-site at the campsite, you can relax after your training at the fish stand with the most delicious smoked fish and cool drinks right by the water, dine at the beautiful Restaurant Seaside Pepelow with a view of the lagoon, or visit the beach bar (small snacks, coffee, and cocktails) in the holiday village San Pepelone. Super delicious soft ice cream from Ilka Eis is available directly opposite the surf station, as well as a small supermarket for daily needs.
After your first successful hours on the water, it's time to keep practicing! You can simply borrow equipment from your kitesurfing school in Pepelow or get advice directly from us for your own equipment. And it's off to the water again. The private wingsurfing lesson (2 hours) offers you individual training according to your personal goals.
