Nach einer schlechten Erfahrung bei einer anderen Schule habe ich mich spontan entschieden noch 2h Privatkurs zu nehmen. Super für jeden Kite-Anfänger. Wir haben einen 2-Tages Kurs gemacht. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wind (obwohl keiner angesagt war) und haben sogar schon ein paar Meter auf dem Board geschafft am zweiten Tag. Ansonsten hatte der Lehrer eine wirklich coole und nette Art einem das Kiten näher zu bringen und war auch nicht genervt, wenn man zum 10. Mal fälschlicherweise die Bar ran gezogen hat, anstatt sie loszulassen. ;) Sehr empfehlenswert!

What happens if my kite license course is canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions?

If the licensing course cannot take place due to the applicable measures within the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic, you can make up for it at a later date or you will be refunded the course fee by us.

What are the contents of the kite license course?

You can expect a compact theory session (1 hour), which you will complete with a theoretical exam. We will review the basic knowledge already learned in the kite course, revisit individual maneuvers and important terms. For example, we will cover the topic of material science, as well as the right-of-way and safety rules. After the license course and your successful exam, you will receive your own, globally recognized VDWS Kitesurfing License.

Why do you recommend the kite license to me?

The goal of the licensing course is to obtain a Kitesurfing Licence Card, the officially recognized license of the water sports association VDWS. With your card, you can prove your kitesurfing training and corresponding level worldwide. For example, renting surfing equipment is possible everywhere. The popular shallow water spot in Pepelow is the ideal place to learn kitesurfing on the Baltic Sea. In our kitesurfing school, we take advantage of the optimal conditions and provide kitesurfing beginners with a successful start in this fascinating water sport. Our surf school is located on a spacious campsite with a large setup area right by the water and its own training zone in the shallow water. Anyone planning a weekend trip to the Baltic Sea will love the relaxed atmosphere at the Salzhaff between Rerik and the island of Poel.
